i love Bojangles
The moment has finally come for my 30 seconds of non-fame.
About three months ago I was cast in a Bojangles commercial – it’s one of their series of Jake Delhomme spots – here in town and have been waiting to see the final product ever since then. It should be mentioned that before I was cast in this, I had no idea who Jake Delhomme was … sorry, Dad. As it happens last night I waited on Jake’s stand-in, a guy named Brandon OBrien, and of course he already had a copy so I made him hook me up.
So behold, below is the 30 second spot that I don’t think is actually airing yet and that I might get in trouble with YouTube for uploading. But it’s still fun to watch over and over right?
And yes, that is my girly yelp when I get hit with the football.

That is awesome! I just showed it to a friend and she said “what the heck is Bojangles?” I imagine that means we won’t be so fortunate as to be graced by your commercial up here in Michigan, considering that nobody up here as ever even heard of Bojangles! They’re missing out…

my favorite part is the girly yelp after delhomme pops you with the ball. i wonder if steve smith does the same. (bwo, steve smith is the all-world wide receiver for the panthers.)

I think it was distasteful and highly inappropriate for a community life group leader to play a biscuit flasher. I intend to write a letter to the Church of God main office and have you disrobed!!! LOL
WOW! We loved your commercial and will use it to educate people here on the Southern ways of biscuit-pushing. This was more of a documentary on the dark Southern streets than an ad. Thanks to Bojangles for getting the word out on an issue that has previously been untouched. Thank you for being willing to play the villain on such a dark issue. Don’t worry, you won’t lose our friendship.
