i rode this

Yesterday, as a sidetrip on the Ebenezer Clothing Festival Tour ‘08, I and my travelling cohorts paid a visit to Cedar Point, the roller coaster capital of the world.  Located on a peninsula reaching out into breathtaking Lake Erie, Cedar Point was an adventure worth the making.  Despite some queasy stomachs following some rides and your’s truly suffering a mild panic attack on one particular coaster it was all in all a great time.

I thought I’d post videos of two of the more extreme coasters Cedar Point has to offer.

This first one is supposed to be the highest and fastest coaster in the world, clocking in at a staggering 420 feet with a speed of 120 miles per hour, the Top Thrill Dragster was the one ride we all had to talk ourselves into riding.  Truthfully, it wasn’t that bad mainly because it was so short you didn’t really have time to think about it.  Check it out below.

The best coaster in the park we saved for last, the Millenium Force.  The first drop alone is worth the park’s price of admission as you extend almost out over the Great Lake itself.  Check it out.
